Project information
The project is located in Jiangbei District, Chongqing City. Taking advantage of height difference of the site, we are trying to build an “educational complex“ through creating a brand new “half-open” space combined with the education industry.
Idea of design
It is a very unique project since it is looking for a program mixed in education/training school/ F&B/ retailing under a playground associated with a middle school. The height difference is around 45m since Chongqing is a mountain city. The challenging of this project is really about how this mixed-use complex can provide necessary amenities to the school and also provides a life style to the city. This project would become the most exciting in the education sector of this market which become a hybrid complex almost can provides enough related experience for young people and students.
Hybrid spaces with supportive program become the key elements for this project. All of the tower and schools at its above has been built up and the void space at its beneath become a challenge to the development. A continuing façade flowing with cultural patterns would be a mimic to the traditional Chinese painting.
